Bridging the Gap: Equal Access For All!

According to the CDC, 1 in 54 children is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder each year. Children and adults on the autism spectrum have a developmental disability that makes it challenging to communicate and interact with others. The “spectrum” in ASD refers to the range in symptoms and severity among those diagnosed.

Research shows that early intervention and detection can drastically change a child’s development, but unfortunately, there are gaps in ASD services in our area. Families have trouble receiving the support they need to help their children reach their full potential, and adults have had to transition from childhood to adulthood without any assistance.

As agents of change, we are committed to creating a community focused on inclusion and equal access to services. In this campaign cycle, we want to bring awareness to our community’s lack of access for individuals and families living with autism and support local organizations on a mission to fill those gaps.

The North Georgia Autism Foundation (NGAF) is committed to providing services across Fannin, Gilmer, Union Counties, North Georgia and Polk County, TN, and Cherokee County, NC.

People with autism have the same wants and needs as neurotypical people; they just need help achieving them. We know the value and the impact of ASD services and their effect on the lives of those in our community. We want to give our customers, business partners, and anybody else that cares the ability to help. Recommend your friends, family, and co-workers to receive an insurance quote from us, and we’ll donate $10 for every person! It’s that easy!! They only need to receive a quote – there is no obligation to purchase.

All funds raised during our campaign will go directly to The North Georgia Autism Foundation, so they can continue creating equal access to services for families and individuals on the autism spectrum.
